Problem

The number of different methods is very large, most of them are not documented and majority of them are outdated. The JRC did not have the resources to perform the analyses and tests.

Solution

Prepare an overview of different approaches, e.g. onthology matching, semantic matching, natural language processing (NLP), and implement the most recent ones. Test the accuracy using information retrieval techniques.
